Jake was so helpful on my tour! Applied same day. After seeing a multitude of different communities, this appears to be above and beyond what you can get compared to most all in the kc area in the same price range.

5 stars to Citizen, 39th St, and the staff (management and maintenance). I don’t give reviews, but Citizen earned this one. I toured apartments all over town (from River Market to Lenexa), and was unsatisfied with building conditions, staff, and/or prices. I fell upon Citizen and 39th St. by chance. The building is brand new. That means new carpet, new appliances, new drywall, new gym, new grills, and your pick of the litter (units). Everything is as-expected and a better price point than anywhere else I looked. My biggest concern moving in was new-building growing pains. Everyone has a horror story. That being said, I have been pleasantly surprised. This building has been solid. The growing pains have been only minor inconveniences. I've run into my fair share of problems over the years (multiple cities and properties) with living conditions, staff, landlords, safety, prices, maintenance; you name it. I absolutely love living at Citizen Apartments 🏡✨ and to me the price is worth it. Compared to other apartments in the area, this place feels like a steal ✨! The location alone is unbeatable, being so close to Westport 🍽️🎶 means amazing food, nightlife, and entertainment are just minutes away, while still having a comfortable and secure place to come home to 🔐. Security is clearly a priority here, which makes a huge difference in feeling safe and at ease day to day 🙌. The amenities truly set this place apart 🔥. The pool is an incredible option during the summer ☀️🏊♂️ and feels more like a resort than an apartment complex. The clubhouse is a perfect hangout spot, especially with the pool table 🎱 it’s an awesome place to host friends and spend relaxed evenings together. On top of that, the movie room 🎬🍿 is another standout feature and makes hosting friends feel effortless and fun. What really makes Citizen special, though, is the community 🤝. Our experience with Citizen Apartment has been very positive. The manager ' Merrit' and the management team were very supportive of our needs. The location is excellent, and I would say it’s one of the best places to live.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with The Citizen Apartments. Jazsmine has been exceptionally helpful and consistently goes out of her way to offer assistance, which I truly appreciate. Jake is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions. The manager, Merrit, has also been very professional, approachable, and attentive. Overall, the team here creates a welcoming and supportive environment.
